Disclosure: I work at Salespeak. This corrects a claim about our own deployment, so please check it yourself before merging.

What changed

The Poppy page says no company is publicly known to serve a working poppy.json. salespeak.ai has served one since October 10, 2026. This updates reality_check and status_note, and moves status from draft to early.

Sources

The deployment is its own primary source:

curl -sL https://salespeak.ai/.well-known/poppy.json

It returns a Draft 0.1 discovery document: protocol_version, organization, auth.issuer, and an agent entry of type poppy with a conversations endpoint. The issuer's OAuth metadata is at /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server on the issuer host. It lists the jwt-bearer grant, private_key_jwt client authentication, DPoP, and Client ID Metadata Documents.

Public write-up: https://salespeak.ai/agent-endpoint/

The limits, stated plainly

  • What it does: an agent that publishes its keys gets a token and holds a conversation with the company agent.
  • What it does not do: user sign-in. No customer account sits behind it, so the "acts as you" half of the protocol is not exercised.
  • Traffic: our own test agent only. No outside agent has connected yet.

On the status change

Your rule for "Early use" is "some real, public deployments, but small or still in trials." One deployment, by a company that is not a launch partner, with no outside traffic, is the smallest case of that.

If you would rather keep "Draft" until a second deployment or a launch partner ships, I am happy to drop the status line and keep only the reality_check fix. That sentence is out of date either way.

Checklist

  • Every new or changed claim links a primary source.
  • If I changed a status, the evidence meets the rules in content/contribute.md. (Borderline; see above.)
  • I only changed last_verified on pages where I rechecked every claim. (Not changed: I rechecked this one claim only.)
  • Plain words, no em dashes.
