Hi there 👋

I'm Michael Maxwell Tucker - but you can call me Max!

👔 Experience & Skills

Fraud & risk operations professional (4+ years, fintech/legal — Robinhood, Ascensus, Ryan Legal Services) building toward a Junior Data Analyst role.

I came up running pre-written SQL queries and reconciling records under SLA pressure, not writing independent analysis — so I'm building that second half deliberately, in public.

I have established intermediate/semi-advanced Excel knowledge (fundamentals, basic statistic formulas, VLOOKUPS, pivot tables), am intimate with the entire Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Salesforce, and several other software. See my LinkedIn profile for more details.

I aspire to work with data because I value accuracy, attention to detail, and utilizing the facts for taking action.

🧠 Currently Learning

Primary Focus

  • SQL fluency — JOINs and GROUP BY/HAVING are solid, subqueries/CTEs/window functions are next. Day-to-day practice is done in VSCode and lives in SQL-Learning-Log — it's the raw, unfiltered version, not a highlight reel.

Planned Future Topics

  • Python & related DA libraries - I am aware of fundamental programming concepts & have applied them.
  • Power BI & Tableau - I'm familiar with the UIs of both but have yet to utilize them further.
