TF2 Chaos Mod is a SourceMod plugin for Team Fortress 2, heavily inspired by Chaos Mod V. At a regular interval, a random effect activates. Some effects empower certain classes and others hinder gameplay. Every now and then a meta effect changes the chaos itself, for example by speeding up the timer.

Effects are written in SourcePawn or VScript (Squirrel) and listed in a config file, so you can add your own.

Running a server

• Server Setup: install, configure and troubleshoot the plugin
• Effect Configuration: define and tune effects in effects.cfg, and name or translate them

Creating effects

Many effects need no code. See Adding effects without code before you write one.

• Creating new effects in SourcePawn: write an effect class in SourcePawn and compile it into the plugin
• Creating new effects in VScript: write an effect as a Squirrel script without recompiling the plugin
