Restrict quality markers to standalone title text.
The unbounded 4k and hd alternatives also remove those characters inside a title. For example, 4Kids becomes ids. If 4Kids and ids have the same first artist and duration bucket, deduplicateSongs() hides one song from a library list. Match standalone markers instead.

Preserve distinct songs that share metadata.
Two song IDs with the same normalized title, first artist, and duration bucket receive the same key. distinctBy then removes one from the library, liked, downloaded, or uploaded list, even when both are separate saved recordings. Do not use this metadata key to remove distinct saved songs; limit this deduplication to entries known to represent the same song.

Recalculate mediaItemIndex after removing duplicates.
If the initial items are [A, A, B] and currentIndex is 2, this line returns [A, B] while Line 66 still sets mediaItemIndex to 2. Playback can start at the wrong item or receive an out-of-range index. Map the selected original item to its index in the deduplicated list before constructing Queue.Status.

distinctBy checks only nextResult.items. If a media ID appears at the end of one page and the start of the next, MusicService.kt appends that ID again. Track IDs already returned by this queue and omit them from later pages.

Close the Response on every path.
If response.isSuccessful is false, the exception is thrown and response is never closed. The same leak happens if any later step throws before body.byteStream().use runs, for example resolver.insert, openOutputStream, or FileOutputStream. Each leak holds a pooled OkHttp connection. Wrap the response in use { }.

Delete the partial MediaStore entry when an export fails.
On API 29+, the code inserts a row with IS_PENDING=1 before the download starts. If the download or a write fails, the catch block only cancels the notification. The pending row and its partial file stay in storage. They are hidden from the user, and the system deletes pending items only after about a week.
On API <29, a failed export leaves a truncated file in Music/Metrolist. isAudioFileAlreadyExported checks only length() > 0, so it counts that truncated file as a completed export. Every retry then shows "File already exists", and the user cannot recover without deleting the file manually.
In the catch path, call resolver.delete(destUri, null, null) on API 29+ and targetFile.delete() on API <29.

Check the API <29 write permission before writing.
On API <29, this branch writes directly to Environment.getExternalStoragePublicDirectory(Environment.DIRECTORY_MUSIC) with FileOutputStream. The app does not declare or request WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, so exports on these versions can fail with a permission error. Add the permission with maxSdkVersion="28" and request it at runtime before starting the export. Handle a failed mkdirs() call before opening the file.

A network or disk error after creating the destination leaves the unfinished file behind. On Android 10+, it stays marked IS_PENDING. Playlist starts the wrong song
Removing duplicate items changes their positions, but mediaItemIndex still uses the position from the original list. For example, [A, A, B, C] with B selected at index 2 becomes [A, B, C] and starts C. Playback also uses this position to split the queue, which can fail when the old position is outside the shortened list. Recompute the selected position after removing duplicates, or preserve repeated playlist entries.

Distinct saved songs disappear
This key treats different song IDs as the same song when their cleaned titles, first artists, and three-second duration buckets match. Different recordings or uploads can share those values, including tracks with different additional artists. Applying this to every library filter silently hides saved songs and their menu actions. Use song IDs for duplicate removal, or make approximate matching an explicit user choice.

| ## Solution | ||
| 1. **Public Audio Exporter (`LatikeshExporter.kt`):** | ||
| * Implemented `LatikeshExporter.exportToPublicStorage(...)` which resolves playback audio stream, streams audio bytes with a 16KB buffer on `Dispatchers.IO`, and saves files to `Environment.DIRECTORY_MUSIC + "/Metrolist"` via `MediaStore.Audio.Media`. |

Describe both storage paths.
Line 15 says all exports use MediaStore.Audio.Media. The exporter uses MediaStore on Android Q and later, but writes with FileOutputStream to the public music directory on earlier versions. Update the description to state both paths.
