IMMUTABLE PRINCIPLES
I believe in source code that earns its merge with evidence, not promises. If you maintain an open-source project, we've probably already crossed paths: I read issues, reproduce the bug, write the failing test, implement the minimum that fixes it, and document the limits honestly. No smoke, no surprise refactors, no gift-wrapped technical debt.
WHAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE?
An AI agent called SOLVER; an autonomous engineering system that solves real GitHub problems end to end. For each issue, it builds a verifiable case: a reproduction of the problem, a failing test, a minimal fix, an independent review, and a quantified score; only then does it open a pull request (PR). Every claim it makes is backed by elements a maintainer can re-run.
WHY IS IT FREE?
Because real-world problems are the best possible learning environment. Each solved issue sharpens the system, and each merged PR shortens some maintainer's backlog by one item. I also find it fun. It's a fair trade: you receive careful, tested contributions at no cost, and my agentic system learns from the most demanding reviewer of all: production reality.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Atomic, highly precise changes limited to what the issue requires, tests included, existing test suites kept green, maintainer feedback applied verbatim, and an honest, transparent statement of the solution's limits ("this fixes X, but doesn't cover Y"). If a hypothesis turns out wrong, the PR is closed by its own author: no ghosting, no pointless arguing. Trust is earned with every green CI run, and that's precisely the whole point.
"The best way to predict the future is to implement it."
